Firefly.

Sometimes the smallest things can trigger a memory that you had almost forgotten and sometimes those memories can be rediscovered by something you encounter in Second Life. Many years ago (well, not that many), I went on holiday to Greece with a friend of mine. It was my first holiday abroad and the first without my family. One night we drunk too much Ouzo and chased fireflies while we stumbled back to our apartment.

And of course, a jar of fireflies is the perfect accessory to any outfit and as it had triggered my holiday memory I had to use this jar from Reek in todays post. Its as quirky, fun and well made as everything in that store.

The hat is from Robbish and is script sizable and colour change. I really like the texturing and the shaping of this hat and versions are available with attached hair in various colours.

Just across the way from Robbish is Macho which stocks a variety of menswear. I picked up these jeans from there and I like them very much. Well priced items and friendly customer service too.

  3. I said the same thing about Reek’s firefly jars. Reminds me of summers as a kid chasing them and putting them in jars with holes poked in the lids. So of course I had to get mine and run around my land with my jar in my hand! =)
