Your Stories All Twisted Up In Mine.

THIS PICTURE IS A LIE.

Well, in a way it is. Its not that it’s not a picture. Because it obviously is. It’s just that its showing something that isn’t actually true. And the thing that isn’t actually true is that you can’t wear this jacket (which is mesh) with the shirt and tie (which are also mesh). Although you can wear them separately and both are rather great.

You see, when you wear one mesh thing on top of another, the one underneath can poke out. There’s seepage. Or slooginess. Or whatever the official word for when that happens is. Anyway, the shirt shows in various places when you wear the jacket over it and through the wonders of photo editing software I fixed it.

So this blog post about mens clothes in Second Life is showing you something you can’t actually wear in Second Life. Which probably breaks some blogger rule. But I don’t really care. I like the picture.

I Just Want To Have Something To Do.

When I sat down at my PC tonight I knew that I wanted to blog. But I also knew that I wanted to do something a little different. So I brought boy-alt out of hibernation, played around with his shape and a few skins and this is what I ended up with.

And in the spirit of doing things a little differently, I’m actually writing something to go along with the picture which I haven’t been doing since I started blogging again. And not writing is mainly down to laziness (as usual). So, anyway, this jacket and hoodie combo from Kal Rau comes with a HUD which allows you to change the colour of the hoodie and the ties. You get three sizes  and as always with mesh items, it’s worth trying on the demos to see if it fits before you buy. Personally, I wont buy any mesh clothing if there’s not a demo to try first. But maybe that’s just me.
